About Abigail Manners

Background

While I was in college as a musical theatre major, I found a lot of my peers struggling to put together a website. I could see how hard it was for my fellow artists to juggle auditions, rehearsals, commissions, and deadlines on top of worrying about getting their website up and running. Building a website takes time and skill that many people just don’t have the time to learn. That’s where I got the idea to start my own branch of web design specifically catered toward artists and creatives.

I started doing web design when I was a freshman in college as a way to have some extra money in my pocket as I was starting to navigate being away from home for the first time. My father introduced it to me through his business and taught me a majority of what I know now. I began with designing websites for smaller businesses in my hometown, which eventually evolved into doing much larger sites as I improved in my design skills. From building my own personal website to websites for large companies, I have gained experience in designing a plethora of sites.

Why I Design for Creatives

As an actor I have a strong passion for storytelling and that is my main focus when designing a website. Your website should tell the story you want people to see. Whether you’re a Theatre actor, TV/Film actor, photographer, musician or just consider yourself an artist, I am here to help you build a website that lets your work take center stage. I believe that every creative deserves a website they are proud of, and I want to help you achieve that.

Being an artist is hard work, you shouldn’t have to worry about learning a whole new skill on top of the already busy schedule you have. I’m here to help those who have no idea where to start or those who want an update to the hard work they have already put in. Collaboration is incredibly important when working as a creative, I am ready to listen and help you reach your goals.

Values

As an artist, I am strictly against the use of generativ AI. All of my sites are hand designed without the use of AI. Let's create something unique and exciting together.
